I joined a group of indie writers who agree to review each other’s books. It sounds like a great idea. Give a little to get a little. But I can see that taking five years to get a significant number of reviews.
A fellow writer on Kindle Boards posted this a while ago. It looks like Andy Butcher did a ton of research on free promotions, or just did a great job keeping track of everything he saw. Either way, I’m going to try the free promotion route for Fugue in C Minor.
I started researching book review websites, and the first several that I saw each indicated they were overwhelmed with requests from authors.
Goodreads.com has free author promotion options, but 50,000 authors all trying to get noticed.
There has to be a happy place where there aren’t too many indie authors all trying to get a bite of loaves and fish.
