Your Writing Foibles

I’m going through this older work of mine, filling in the gaps I left when I first wrote it. But I’m also finding that I often used a poetic device found in Proverbs. I say the same thing twice, but in a different way. It’s annoying. So a lot of what I am doing here is cutting out the redundancies.

When you edit your work, what kinds of things do you cut out?
